2026 -2027 TUTORING RESOURCES AT BTHS

Please note that students who plan to take advantage of the after school tutoring resources will need to provide their own transportation.

Algebra 1 – MWF in 9th grade center room N135 with Mrs. Kori Bichler, Math Tutor

Marine Science – Thursdays after school upon request only with Ms. Veenstra.

Spanish – Hispanic Honor Society offers free tutoring TWR in room N237 – Mrs. Emily Smith from 8:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. AND Wednesday afternoon immediately after school in room N241 – Ms. Jennifer Butler. On the FIRST Thursday morning of the month from 8:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. by email only to confirm tutoring help.

ASL Tutoring – Mrs. Tracy Coolican/Ms. Ansley Hester – ASL Teachers post their extra help sessions on their Schoology calendar and on the boards. They offer two extra help sessions weekly. Students can speak directly with their ASL Teachers to arrange tutoring help if there is an issue with the posted available times.

Math – Mu Alpha Theta will offer Math Tutoring and the Sponsor is Dr. Alex Jess. Email him for Math Honor Society students availability for math tutoring. Email: [email protected]

Social Studies and English – all have tutoring resources on the teacher’s Schoology page. Reach out to your teacher if you are falling behind or struggling with the content.

National Honor Society tutoring – Starting on 10-5-26 after school in the media center on Monday’s. Mrs. Kathleen Richards – NHS Sponsor. ([email protected])

KhanAcademy.org – free online tutoring help in all subjects.
