Things to know before you being:

Students who currently have an IEP, ELL or 504 Plan will not automatically receive accommodations for ACT, SAT, PSAT and AP Exams.  An separate application process for requesting accommodations for both the College Board and ACT exams.

If your student previously received approved accommodations from CollegeBoard or ACT, an additional request is not needed.

How to Apply for ACT accommodations

BEST PRACTICES:

Best practice is to always confirm with ACT and/or SAT, prior to test day, that your student’s testing accommodations have been applied for usage on EACH scheduled exam.

You may also look on your student’s test ticket to verify that accommodations have been applied by the testing agency.

Students with approved ACT accommodations should know their  TAA Pin number when calling for confirmation. If you do not know it, you can get this information from your School Counselor.
