DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in the areas of marketing, finance, hospitality, and management. 2. To prepare students in the four principles established by DECA, Inc. and adopted by Florida DECA: being academically prepared, community oriented, professionally responsible, experienced leaders. Florida DECA’s core attributes and values are to develop competence, innovation, integrity, and teamwork among our students. 3. To assist Florida DECA Chapters’ membership in the growth and development of DECA. |

Cassandra Veenstra | Dungeons and Dragons Club | The purpose of Dungeons and Dragons Club is to provide an entertaining, welcoming social environment that helps members build creativity, problem-solving skills, and friendships. Brooke Smith | Film Club | In the Film Club, our objective is to create a welcoming environment that stimulates active discussion on topics involving cinematography. Members will watch a fi lm that was chosen the previous week and will participate in a Socratic seminar styled group talk. |
Andrew Scott | H.O.S.A. | The BTHS Chapter of HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America) will be a competitive student-led international organization for future healthcare professionals engaged in educating students who wish to pursue the medical field. We intend to use this platform to build leadership skills and promote healthcare career opportunities through participation in competitions at a variety of levels up to the international level. |
Stephen Revell | Helping Hickory’s Heart | The purpose of this club is to aid Hickory Creek Elementary School’s program that provides food and snacks for kids who are needing support. This club helps motivate students to lend a hand, embrace responsibility, and become more caring citizens. |
Emily Smith | Hispanic Honor Society | Our society exists to recognize students of high achievement in Spanish, and to further the knowledge and understanding of the Spanish culture and language among students of Bartram Trail High School. |

Julia Rigon | International Thespian Society | The purpose of the Drama Club is to provide students with a creative outlet to explore the performing arts, build self-confidence, and develop essential life skills through theatrical expression. By participating in activities such as acting, stage production, and scriptwriting, students will cultivate collaboration, communication, critical thinking, and leadership. The club aims to foster an inclusive and supportive environment where all students, regardless of experience level, feel empowered to express themselves and take creative risks. |

Jeff Davis | Magic: The Gathering or (MTG) | dedicated to fostering a welcoming and inclusive community for students who enjoy strategic gameplay, fantasy storytelling, and social interaction through the collectible card game Magic: The Gathering. Our purpose is to provide a space where players of all skill levels—from beginners to seasoned planeswalkers—can gather to learn, play, and grow together. |
Kathryn Tax | Miss Bartram Trail Pageant | The Miss Bartram Trail pageant is a scholarship pageant promoting Junior ladies to work collaboratively to showcase their personalities, talents, and successes. Students will practice presenting themselves for an interview, gain confidence in front of a crowd, and make lasting memories with a group of peers. The crowned Miss Bartram will serve as a school community leader alongside her runner-ups. |

Ansley Hester | Senior Men | The purpose of Senior Men is to encourage 12th grade boys to bond as classmates one last year through service opportunities and bettering the community, with the goal to produce a fun environment for the student body and be leading role-models for the other male students. |

Kaitlyn Jordan | Skilled Trades | The purpose of the Skilled Trades Club is to: Introduce students to various skilled trades through guest speakers and demonstrations. Connect students with trade schools and apprenticeship opportunities. Engage in service projects that benefit the school and community. Participate in volunteer events, including collaboration with Habitat for Humanity. |
Wylie Bergbower | Sources of Strength | A best practice youth mental health promotion and suicide prevention program designed to harness the power of peer social networks to create healthy norms and culture, ultimately preventing suicide, violence, bullying, and substance misuse. The mission of Sources of Strength is to prevent adverse outcomes by increasing wellbeing, help-seeking, resiliency, healthy coping, and belonging. |
Joshua Bratovich | Stay Another Day | to focus on how to handle other people who have suicidal thoughts and also how to cope with your own emotions after finding out a friend or family member feels this way. Out overall goal to ensure our fellow classmates know they have somone to talk to. |

LeAnna Teuscher | Students Working Against Tobacco SWAT | SWAT is Florida’s statewide youth organization working to mobilize, educate and equip Florida youth to revolt against and de-glamorize the tobacco industry.
