Dear parent(s)/guardian(s),
We wanted to provide you with important upcoming dates for the start of the
2nd semester:
WHAT: BTHS Academy Night
WHEN: Monday, January 12 @6pm
TOPIC: Please join us in the auditorium at 6pm for an informative evening.
The night will begin with an overview of all of the academies we offer at BTHS.
Then families will be able to move to 3 separate breakout sessions, where they
will learn about their top 3 academy choices. Families will get to speak with
current academy teachers and students, to get their questions answered.
WHAT: School Counselor Registration Workshop for Parents
WHEN: Tuesday, January 13 @6pm
TOPIC: The Scheduling Process
TWO SESSIONS: Families will begin by joining us in the auditorium. Next
families will move to breakout sessions according to the grade level of their
student.
1. Auditorium session topics:
o Registration timeline
o Course recommendations vs Course Requests
o Request changes vs Schedule Changes
o The academic course progressions
o Course offerings for the 2026-2027 school year
2. Breakout Sessions:
o Grade Level breakouts with topics relevant to that specific grade
level
o Get your individual and group-based questions answered
We HIGHLY recommend that you attend to help plan your student’s 2026-
2027 school year.
WHAT: Report Cards Available in HAC
WHEN: Wednesday, January 15th
Semester 1 Report cards go live on Thursday, January 15th @4:30pm in HAC
*Please note that semester grades earn credit and effect GPA
WHAT: Registration Begins @ BTHS
WHEN: Monday, January 26 – Friday, February 20
• Rising Sophomores: January 26 – February 2
• Rising Juniors: February 2 – February 9
• Rising Seniors: February 10 – February 19
• Make Ups/Virtual/DE will be scheduled throughout these dates.
