2015-2016 Scholarships
Seniors, please look at institutional and foundation scholarships offered by the schools you are interested in attending. Apply according to the directions provided for you. In addition, check your Bartram Trail website periodically to see other possible opportunities for scholarships! Please see your School Counselor if you have any questions!

BTHS Memorial Scholarships – There are three memorial scholarships offered each year for BTHS Seniors: the Brooke J. LaDue Memorial Scholarship, the Lauren Blomberg Scholarship, and the Amy Warshaw Memorial Scholarship! Please see below and/or the Guidance Office for questions about these scholarships.

Governor Rick Scott and First Lady Ann Scott are hosting the Hispanic Heritage Month celebration and have invited all Florida students to participate in the art and essay contests. Students in grades K-3 have a chance to win a cash prize by submitting artwork, and students in grades 4-12 can earn a 4-Year Florida College Prepaid scholarship through the essay contest. This year’s theme, “Honoring Hispanic American Heroes: Veterans, Military, Law Enforcement and First Responders,” focuses on the brave men and women who have and continue to protect our state and country.

University Tutor’s Scholarship Contest
University Tutor holds a monthly $1,000 college scholarship contest where students write a short essay in response to a monthly prompt. The submitted essays are reviewed by University Tutor staff at the end of the month and one winner is chosen to receive the $1,000 college scholarship. Interested students can enter the contest here:


Toptal STEM Scholarships for Women 
 Toptal supports aspiring female computer scientists, developers, and software engineers to achieve their goals via financial support and mentorship by top professional developers and designers.
 Due: Ongoing/monthly through November 2016


Southern Scholarship Foundation Housing Scholarships
SSF provides rent-free scholarship housing for qualified students demonstrating academic achievement (with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA), financial need (as identified on the FAFSA), and good character. With SSF scholarship, students are estimated to save $10,000 – $12,000 per year.

International Longshoremen’s Association Port of Jax. Scholarship
Current high school seniors or currently enrolled college students. Students must have a 3.0 or better GPA, with community service vita and demonstrate financial need.

“Aspiring Fashion Professional” Scholarship                                     
 This award is for students that are interested in pursuing a fashion degree at an accredited post-secondary school or college.

“Aspiring Animation Professional” Scholarship                                     
 This award is for students that are interested in pursuing an animation career path at an accredited post-secondary school or college.

“Aspiring Business Professional” Scholarship                                      
 This is a $1,000 scholarship that will be awarded to students that are interested in pursuing a business degree at any accredited post-secondary school or college.

Abbott and Fenner Scholarship Program

2016 Aspiring Nurse Scholarship                                      
Nursing Schools Almanac has just launched its inaugural 2016 Aspiring Nurse Scholarship. Students will be awarded a $1,000 scholarship to an aspiring nurse who best demonstrates: A track record of academic excellence, particularly in science and mathematics; A passion for the nursing profession and the overall field of healthcare. This scholarship is open to all high school seniors who plan to pursue college education in nursing, including LPN / LVN, ADN, and BSN programs.
